I know what you’re thinking… Is Zach still running marathons?!
And you’d be right to wonder. After finishing the Tokyo Marathon in 2023, I officially retired the marathon sneakers (unless someone can convince me to run Sydney 😊).
That said—like I did the past two years—I’m once again participating in a virtual marathon relay with five teammates to help fund cancer research and support young adults battling cancer. We call ourselves the 6‑PACK, and together we’ll be covering the full 26.2 miles.
Cancer has touched so many people who are incredibly close to me—and I know the same is true for many of you. That’s why I’m taking a moment to do something meaningful: raising funds for the Expect Miracles Foundation, which supports cancer research and helps ease the financial burden for young adults facing this disease.
This year, I’ve set a personal goal of raising $10,000, and I’d truly appreciate your support.
I’ll be running in honor of the people in my life (my mom and my dad)—and in yours—who have battled cancer. If you’re able to contribute, any amount makes a difference.
On May 17th, I’ll be running 1/6 of 26.2 miles as part of our relay, and with your help, I’m hoping to exceed this year’s goal.
