Fundraising Made Easy
When you join EMF’s Distance Challenge, fundraising comes first, moving comes second. Don’t worry, we’ve made it simple with tools and support to help you hit your goal.
While you track miles during Distance Challenge week, your efforts directly support life-saving cancer research and financial assistance for young adult cancer survivors.
Why Fundraise for Expect Miracles Foundation?
Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, 100% of all participant-raised dollars support EMF's portfolio of funds:

INNOVATION FUND
EMF’s Innovation Fund supports the Center for Experimental Therapeutics at Memorial Sloan Kettering, funding Dr. Daniel Heller’s pioneering nanotechnology research to detect cancer early and deliver safer, more
effective treatments to patients faster.
SAMFUND
The SAMFund, a program of Expect Miracles Foundation, provides vital financial and family-building grants to young adult cancer survivors, helping them recover from the financial impact of cancer. Since 2005, over 2,800 grants totaling nearly $5 million have been awarded.

Tips from Top Fundaisers

“Don’t be scared and don’t limit yourself. I was blown away by how generous friends, family, and colleagues were when I started fundraising.”
- Jeff Duckworth, Manulife John Hancock Investments
“Fundraising is personal. When you share your story—why you’re supporting the mission and how the donations help—it often inspires others to share their own stories and get involved. Just ask, and don’t be afraid to ask again.”
- Christine Chigounis, Bank of America Merrill Lynch
“Allspring's main approach is to generate excitement and to get as many people as possible involved. If everyone contributes a little bit—miles and dollars—it really adds up.”
- Kevin Johnson, Allspring Global Investments
