I'm riding for my family.

My life was deeply impacted by the loss of my mother. At age 44, she succumbed to a very aggressive lung cancer that had spread to her ovaries, pancreas, and brain.

There was very little that could be done by way of medications or drugs that would prevent the spread of her aggressive cancer, and every prognosis seemed to get worse and worse.

At the time, the outcome and prognosis were more dependent on discovery. The earlier you found the cancer, the better it could be treated. There were virtually no drugs on the market that could assist.

I am riding for my family, and for other families that have been impacted directly by the damage cancer causes - and for my mom, who looks over us every single day.
