Over the past few weeks, someone close to me, my high school friend Tori Burkett, was recently diagnosed with cancer.

Tori is someone who has always been a light for the people around her, and like a lot of us, cancer is something you never really expect to hit this close to home, until it does.

To support her and others going through similar battles, I’m participating in the Expect Miracles Foundation (EMF) Distance Challenge, committing to ride/run about an hour a day through Tuesday.

EMF is an organization that funds life-saving cancer research while also providing financial assistance to young adults (21–39) impacted by cancer helping ease the real world burden that comes with a cancer diagnosis.

This is just a small way to show support for Tori and contribute to something bigger that can help others in the same position.

If you’re open to it, any support, whether through a donation or sharing the campaign would mean a lot.

More importantly, keep Tori in your thoughts & prayers as you push yourself and she continues this fight!
