March 25, 2026, marks five years since my double mastectomy at Memorial Sloan Kettering, a day that changed my life in ways I could have never imagined. My treatment journey continued through Dana-Farber and Stamford Hospital, where I was met with extraordinary care, expertise, and humanity.

Five years later, I carry not only gratitude, but perspective. Cancer has a way of stripping everything down to what truly matters and rebuilding you stronger, clearer, and more intentional.

This milestone is deeply personal, but it’s also why I’ve chosen to step forward as a Team Captain for the EMF Distance Challenge. Supporting this cause is not just about giving back, it’s about honoring the people, institutions, and moments that carried me through, and paying that forward for others still in the fight.

This isn’t just a celebration of being cancer-free. It’s a commitment to purpose, resilience, and making a difference beyond my own story.
