8 Days x 5 Miles per Day = #40 Miles TotalCancer has touched all of our lives in some way. I met my friend Marc "Toots" Jackson back in elementary school in Melrose, Massachusetts. He passed away in May 2013 after an eight-and-a-half-year battle with brain cancer. Standing 6'8', Toots played HS basketball and his jersey number was #40.
In his memory, I'll be walking/running (mostly walking) a total of 40 miles over 8 days.
My goal is to have at least 40 people donate between $50 and $100 to support my Distance Challenge in Marc's name. For those who contribute more than $100, your generosity will mean so much to me. Help me get to $4000 and see how far we can ALL go to leave cancer behind!
