Why I’m Going the Distance - And Why I Need You With Me

In 2024, thanks to your incredible support, we raised $1 million for lifesaving cancer research and financial assistance for young adult survivors. That’s real impact. But in 2025, the need is even greater.
Here’s why:
The momentum we’ve built in cancer care and research is under threat. Severe funding cuts to the National Institutes of Health and other essential institutions jeopardize the breakthroughs we’ve fought so hard for. The stakes couldn’t be higher.
What’s at risk:

- Hope for millions of patients and families
We simply can’t afford to go backward — not when lives are on the line.
