I don't often share my story about cancer. Not only have I lost family and friends to this invasive disease, but I am also a cancer survivor. In 2013, I was diagnosed with bladder cancer. Hearing the big "C" word was terrifying. The surgery and treatment were tough, but today, I am cancer-free and have all my organs. The cancer was so aggressive that I still need annual screenings. Although I face anxiety each year before my screening, I remember how my initial diagnosis turned my world upside down.

Expect Miracles raises funds for cancer research and helps those recently diagnosed find progressive care while keeping their daily lives in motion. This organization unites the financial services industry to identify effective treatments and support the diagnosed with their day-to-day needs, allowing them to focus on their treatment.
