This is my first time taking part in the Expect Miracles Distance Challenge. I will be walking to help families get the support they need when faced with cancer. For me, it's not about the miles nor milestones. The “Expect Miracles” challenge carries a deeper purpose, one rooted in remembrance and gratitude.

It's been over 10 years since I lost my incredible mother to cancer, but the impact of her bravery and strength in the face of that battle remains with me to this day. Her unwavering spirit and determination to live life to the fullest, even in the darkest of times, continue to inspire me and shape who I am. This challenge is, in many ways, my tribute to her - a way to honor her memory and keep her legacy alive by choosing to live boldly, to keep going even when it's hard, and to continue believing in the possibility of miracles.
