This year, we are Team MERRILL & Friends for Ben. Our efforts to raise funds for cancer research and log our greatest distances is dedicated with love and hope for our colleague Andrew Matthews and his family as they walk through the unimaginable—supporting their 1.5‑year‑old son, Ben, following his leukemia diagnosis. Andrew is a leader on Stephen Patrickakos’ team and someone many of us know not just as a colleague, but as a steady, generous presence who brings care and commitment to everything he does. In this moment, we come together to surround Andrew, Ben, and their family with that same care and strength.

From May 12–19, 2026, Merrill employees and friends will log miles walked, run, and biked to show the Expect Miracles Foundation community just how far we are willing to go in the fight against cancer—and for families like Ben’s. Each mile is a symbol of solidarity, love, and belief in a healthier future.
