When Cancer Comes Too Soon

Friday 8th May

Cancer feels especially cruel when it touches the young.

I lost my cousin to mucosal melanoma at just 44. She was not only family, but a close friend, and her loss left a deep and lasting void. Recently, I learned that another beloved cousin and friend, only 42, has been diagnosed with lung cancer. Hearing that news brought back so many emotions and a profound sadness for how many young lives are disrupted by this disease.

In their honor, and for everyone still fighting, let's continue to expect miracles. 💫.
