Kicking off Expect Miracles Foundation - Financial Services Against Cancer's Distance Challenge feels especially meaningful this year.

From May 12-19, the EMF community will be moving with purpose to support life-saving cancer research and young adult survivors through our SAMFund Grant Program.

As the manager of EMF's marathon program, I'm using this week to take on a personal challenge. I'll be completing 44.3 miles (the combined distance of a full marathon, half marathon, and 8K) in celebration of an exciting milestone for our program.

We're expanding to Philadelphia for the first time, with 5 bibs available in each race for the 2026 Philadelphia Marathon Weekend. This is just a small preview, and I'm incredibly proud of how far this program has come and where it's headed.
