I'm going the distance to leave cancer behind!

This year, I'm walking with Expect Miracles in memory of someone who touched my life deeply-my brother-in-law's cousin, a strong and loving woman whose story deserves to be heard.
In August 2023, she was diagnosed with cancer. At just 40 years old, she was a single mother raising two incredible kids, aged 14 and 9. Her world-and theirs-changed in an instant.
She faced her diagnosis with quiet courage and resilience. Despite the challenges, she stayed focused on what mattered most: her children and the time she had left with them. Sadly, her journey came to an end in February 2024, just six months after her diagnosis.
Cancer doesn't always give us time. But in those six months, she gave everything she could to the people she loved. Her strength continues to inspire everyone who knew her.
Though I've never faced cancer myself, I've seen too many friends and family members struggle with it. That's why I've joined the Expect Miracles Foundation-to honor her memory, to support others in the fight, and to believe in a future where stories like hers don't end so soon.
Please consider supporting, donating, or simply sharing this message. Every step we take brings us closer to hope.
