100% of every participant-raised dollar goes to EMFβs mission.
Today, hashtag#Akkodis joins the wonderful team at Expect Miracles Foundation - Financial Services Against Cancer to kick off the 2024 EMF Distance Challenge!! I decided over the weekend to increase my goal to 26 miles and try to raise $1,000 over the next 7 days. In addition to running every day this week, my wife Sarah Majoros and I will be running in the St. Michael's Maryland Running Festival this weekend where I will attempt a 10K to help get me a little closer to that 26 mile goal. π€Each year I try to give cancer a huge punch in the GUT π₯π₯ π₯by running to raise money for cancer research for young adults and memory and support of my two younger brothers who had to battle cancer just when life was getting started. John, pictured above, lost his battle with advanced testicular cancer 10 months after being diagnosed. He was 22. β€οΈLater that same year, my youngest brother was diagnosed with Hodgkin's and Testicular cancer. After undergoing months of treatment, he has been cancer free ever since. πͺ
EMF channels funds into life-saving cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Your contribution directly aids young adult cancer survivors with crucial financial grants. Thanks to EMF's sponsors, every dollar you donate goes directly to the cause.
Consider the difference we can make together. Any contribution, big or small, makes a significant impact. Your support means the world to me, and to those affected by cancer.
