Since 2020, I've been running for Expect Miracles Foundation in honor of friends and family members who have battled cancer.
This year I am running in honor of “Coach” Brett Davenport. Coach Brett has been a proud member of TEAM 6-Pack the last 5 years, helping raise critical funds for cancer research. Recently, he found himself on the receiving end of that same research as he faced prostate cancer. I’m thrilled to share that he is doing great and continues to fight with the same strength and positivity he's always shown.
I want to honor his commitment to fighting cancer by running in his name this year.
My reason for running and raising money is simple: we all can make a difference. With
your generous support over the past seven years, I've personally raised over $65,000 to fund
cancer research and help ease the financial burden of cancer for young adults.
This year, I hope you will think of Coach Brett - and anyone in your life who has been touched by cancer - as you consider supporting this important cause.
As in recent years, I will be running a “virtual marathon relay” with my teammates: Duck, Coach, Bald One, Bakes, Ziggy, and me (Speedy). On May 21, our team - appropriately named TEAM 6-Pack, will collectively run 26.2 miles as part of the Expect Miracles Distance Challenge.
I will be running in honor of the brave people in my life, and in yours, who have
faced cancer.
Please help me achieve my personal goal of raising $10,000 this year as our team of 6 is hoping
to raise $100,000.
